TERMS OF USE & CLIENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

1. WELCOME TO GLAD STUDY CONSULT

Welcome to Glad Study Consult Limited (“Glad Study Consult”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are an education, study-abroad and travel consultancy providing guidance and administrative support to individuals seeking international education opportunities and selected international travel services.

These Terms of Use & Client Service Agreement (“Terms”) explain the terms under which you may use our website, communicate with us, engage our services, submit documents or otherwise become a client of Glad Study Consult.

By using our website, submitting an enquiry, booking a consultation, submitting an application through us, making a payment or engaging our services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms.

2. OUR SERVICES

Study Abroad Services include study-abroad counselling and destination guidance; course and programme guidance; university and institution selection assistance; university application assistance; application document review; post-arrival/student support; Visa & Travel Services may include tourist and vacation visa support; business-visit visa support; travel consultation; visa application preparation and document guidance; appointment and application support; and related travel-support services.

Our current study destinations include the United Kingdom, Canada and Ireland. Travel and visit-visa services may include the United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, France and Ireland, subject to availability and applicable requirements.

3. OUR ROLE

Glad Study Consult acts as a consultant, adviser and application-support provider. We may help you understand requirements, prepare documents, organise applications, communicate with relevant institutions and navigate the application process. We do not make decisions on behalf of universities, scholarship providers, immigration authorities, embassies, consulates, visa centres, airlines, accommodation providers, government agencies or other independent third parties.

4. NO GUARANTEE OF ADMISSION, VISA OR TRAVEL OUTCOME

We work to provide professional and accurate guidance, but no outcome can be guaranteed. Glad Study Consult does not guarantee university admission, scholarship awards, visa approval or issuance, visa duration, immigration approval, entry into a destination country, travel permission, accommodation availability, a particular processing time, or a particular financial or academic outcome.

5. ACCURACY, HONESTY & AUTHENTICITY

All information and documentation supplied to Glad Study Consult must be true, accurate, complete to the best of your knowledge, current, genuine and lawfully obtained. You must notify us if information changes materially. We will not knowingly prepare, submit or facilitate fraudulent, forged, altered or deliberately misleading documentation and may suspend or terminate services where such information is reasonably suspected.

6. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES AS A CLIENT

You agree to provide requested documents within agreed timelines; respond promptly to requests; review application information before submission where requested; provide accurate personal, academic, financial, employment and immigration information; disclose relevant previous visa refusals or immigration matters where applicable; attend required appointments, interviews, biometrics or examinations; meet deadlines; pay applicable fees; follow destination-country laws; and keep original documents secure.

7. THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION & REQUIREMENTS

Universities, governments, embassies, visa centres and other institutions may change entry requirements, fees, deadlines, procedures, documentation requirements or eligibility criteria. Glad Study Consult will make reasonable efforts to communicate relevant changes that come to our attention, but clients remain responsible for complying with the latest requirements.

8. FEES & PAYMENT

Our professional/service fees will be communicated before or during engagement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payments should be made through the official payment channel provided by Glad Study Consult; our current payment method is bank transfer. Government, university, visa-centre, examination, courier, translation, medical, accommodation, travel and other third-party charges may be separate.

9. REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation or refund requests will be assessed according to the service purchased, stage reached, work already completed, written terms applicable to the engagement, third-party refund policies and applicable legal requirements. Fees already paid to universities, authorities, embassies, visa centres or other third parties may be non-refundable.

10. APPLICATION SUBMISSION

Where Glad Study Consult submits or assists with an application, you remain responsible for the accuracy of information supplied. Where an application is presented for review before submission, check it carefully and notify us of errors. After submission, changes may be outside our control and may require additional procedures or fees.

11. COMMUNICATIONS

We may communicate through WhatsApp, telephone, email, website forms, social-media messaging, in-person meetings or other agreed channels. You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and checking communications relating to your application.

12. WEBSITE & DIGITAL SERVICES

Our website and digital platforms provide information and facilitate communication. We aim to keep information accurate and current, but do not guarantee that every programme detail, fee, deadline or external link will always be completely current. Website information should not replace checking the latest requirements of the relevant authority.

13. ACCEPTABLE USE

You must not use our website, communication channels or services to submit fraudulent information, impersonate another person, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious software, interfere with our services, abuse or threaten staff, use our services unlawfully, or reproduce proprietary materials without permission.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Unless otherwise stated, Glad Study Consult owns or has rights to its logos, branding, website content, graphics, videos, written materials, guides, templates, marketing materials and original educational content. These may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, sold or commercially exploited without permission, except where permitted by law.

15. CONFIDENTIALITY

We recognise that clients may provide confidential personal, academic, financial, employment, immigration and family information. We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection requirements. Information may be shared where necessary to provide the requested service or where permitted or required by law.

16. DATA PROTECTION & PRIVACY

Glad Study Consult takes the protection of client information seriously. Our Privacy Policy explains the information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we may share it with, international transfers, retention, security measures and data-protection rights. Our practices are designed with applicable Nigerian data-protection requirements in mind, including the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

17. INTERNATIONAL APPLICATIONS & CROSS-BORDER PROCESSING

International education and travel services may require information to be shared with or processed by organisations outside Nigeria, including in the United Kingdom, Canada, Ireland, Netherlands, France or another relevant jurisdiction. Such processing may be necessary to progress an application or provide the requested service. Appropriate data-protection measures will be applied where required by law.

18. VISA & IMMIGRATION DISCLAIMER

Glad Study Consult is not the decision-making authority for any visa or immigration application and cannot guarantee approval. We are not responsible for visa refusal, delayed processing, policy changes, appointment availability, additional document requests, immigration interviews or border-entry decisions unless responsibility arises from circumstances for which we are legally responsible. Clients should seek specialist legal or regulated immigration advice where required.

19. EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS & PARTNERS

Universities, colleges and other institutions may have their own application requirements, fees, refund policies, admission criteria, deposit requirements, accommodation policies and academic requirements. Their policies may apply independently of these Terms.

20. TESTIMONIALS & SUCCESS STORIES

Where you voluntarily provide a testimonial, review, photograph, video or success story for promotional purposes, Glad Study Consult may use the material only in accordance with the permission provided and applicable privacy requirements. Promotional consent may be provided separately through our Marketing & Testimonial Consent Form.

21. CHILDREN & MINORS

Some services may involve students below 18. Where required by applicable law or the nature of the service, we may require a parent or lawful guardian to participate in or authorise the engagement.

22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

We will take reasonable care in providing our services. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Glad Study Consult will not be responsible for losses arising directly from matters outside our reasonable control, including government or university decisions, visa refusals, policy changes, third-party system failures, airline disruptions, force majeure events, incorrect information supplied by a client, or missed deadlines caused by a client. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

23. SUSPENSION OR TERMINATION OF SERVICES

We may suspend or terminate a service where a client provides fraudulent or materially misleading information, required payments are not made, required information is repeatedly withheld, continuing the service would create legal or regulatory risk, abusive or unlawful conduct occurs, or the requested service is no longer reasonably possible.

24. COMPLAINTS & RESOLUTION

Complaints should be submitted through hello@gladstudyconsult.com with sufficient information to identify the relevant service or application. We will make reasonable efforts to review complaints fairly and respond appropriately.

25. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL

Glad Study Consult will not be responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including government actions, changes in law or immigration policy, natural disasters, public emergencies, internet or telecommunications failures, cyber incidents affecting third-party systems, industrial action, war or civil unrest, airline or transport disruption, university closures or similar events.

26. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our services, business practices, technology, laws or regulatory requirements. The updated version will be published with a revised “Last Updated” date. Where a change materially affects an existing client engagement, we will take reasonable steps to communicate it where appropriate.

27. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

28. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, subject to mandatory legal requirements applicable to a particular service, transaction or jurisdiction.

30. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGEMENT

By engaging Glad Study Consult, submitting an application through us, making a payment, booking a consultation or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to read and understand these Terms. Where a separate written service agreement, quotation or engagement letter applies, that document should be read together with these Terms.
